Today we took our first visit to the Hoofddorp children’s farm. There we saw Chickens, Goats, Rabbits, Ducks, Peacocks & a Donkey! You were asleep for the first part but once awake you thoroughly enjoyed yourself.
Here are some of the animals we saw throughout our visit:
Chubby babies are cute babies 😀 And you’re a little chubby at the moment… mega cute! Skinny, normal or chubby… you’ll always be a cutie, so much so that Daddy can’t stop taking pictures. Mummy is always saying that she wants to bite your cheeks and legs… in fact she does this a lot which makes you laugh!
Here are some pictures of you in your cute little booties!
Today I was lucky enough to receive a massage from you, a proper Indian head massage 🙂 It was great until you started to play with my glasses 🙂 We should make this a weekly thing!
Thanks, it was great!
So for being such a good girl I sang to you 🙂 I don’t have a singing voice so you’ll have to ignore that 🙂 But you loved it anyway. Notice your feet twisting around and around? It’s something you do while watching cartoons or listening to music, it’s cute!
Ok, you didn’t exactly have ribs but today you had your first taste of meat, a proper little Daddy’s girl 🙂 Today Mummy cooked you Chicken, Carrots & Potatoes! Yummy! I dread the day when you realise where meat comes from…
We did manage to get some in your mouth! And you loved it!
It seems Mummy isn’t the only accountant in the family! Here you are busy calculating how much money you have in your bank account. Don’t forget to take into account all the 5 EUR’s that Daddy owes you for not pooping at the wrong time 🙂
Who’s going to sit on the Iron Throne, that’s the big question at the moment… is this case, who’s going to sit on the Plastic Throne?? That would be Emily!!!!
All welcome Princess Emily, looking so proud in your brand new table/chair.
It’s Sunday so we took a trip to IKEA for some hot dogs… oh… and maybe something for the house 😀 Mummy loves the hot dogs there and Daddy is fond of the meatballs 🙂 We decided to carry you around to make our life a little easier, you loved it of course and I couldn’t stop taking selfies 🙂
We bought and gave you some IKEA biscuits as you really wanted to eat my hot dog. It’ll be a couple of years before you can eat your own hot dog though. You also loved the milkshake… big surprise there right? 😀
Today was a beautiful day and as it was our last chance for this year, we decided to have an outing to the Keukenhof. As you’re getting bigger we took you out in your ‘Big Girl Seat’, you’re really growing fast! We all enjoyed a nice afternoon out together, this time next year you’ll be able to ‘run’ through the tulips!
Don’t worry, for our summer holiday we’ll buy you some sunglasses! So you can look as cool as Mummy & Daddy
You loved the music, especially the dancing with Mummy!
Another first for you today, a slightly strange one but it still counts! Today you joined the ‘mile high club’ for babies, having your diaper changed at 30,000 feet. Ok, you didn’t poop but you did pee a lot at over 800 km/h.
I think Mummy did an excellent job in such cramped conditions. You should feel lucky as you were allowed in the Business Class toilets!
Poor Bunny didn’t have his passport with him… but don’t worry… Mummy and Daddy smuggled him in. He’s currently hiding out in your toy box avoiding immigration, you see he’s British, LOL
We’ll have to get you a new passport this year as yours is only temporary, plus in my opinion you don’t look anything like your picture!
Today is Mothers Day, Mummy was extremely pleased with your present and kind words. We noticed one day you arrived home with paint on your hands, a complete mystery until she received a present, one that you made!
It was a teapot, with teabags, decorated with hand prints! So cute and personal! You also got Mummy a lovely bunch of flowers, so pretty!
Thank you my sweetheart, I love you very much! Here’s to many more Mothers Days together.
So after your baptism we find ourselves in Romania again for the baptism of Stefania. We were hoping that you’d enjoy it a little more than yours, however you fell ill 🙁
It sounds like a bad joke but how many people does it take to feed a baby, in this case it takes 2, 3 if you include me taking pictures! As we were travelling we didn’t have the luxury of making you fresh food each day so bottled carrots it was. With the help of Oma we tried to feed you 🙂
Oma did a good job of holding you still, Mummy for shoveling it in and me, for distracting you with random pictures 😀 It’s true to say though you didn’t like this one as much as the one Mummy makes you, nothing like home cooked food right?
Maybe I’m shaping your future love for extreme sports? 🙂 Either way you had a lot of fun with me this morning. Don’t worry, Mummy knows I did this 🙂 I remember at one point we both took an arm and leg and swung you! You really loved that!
Hi Sweetie, who’s our big girl?! Congratulations on your 6th month birthday. It’s amazing how fast you’re growing. You’ve somehow managed to survive with having 2 crazy parents like us! We are the perfect family!
Yummy! The cake was delicious and yes… we did give you some!
We also introduced you to a bubble gun! Daddy had the most fun with this seeing how far the bubbles would float… one even went over the street and houses into the fields. As you can see Mummy didn’t let Daddy play with this in the house… next time 🙂
Today is Kings Day in Holland so it’s tradition to go out in Orange, sell second hand stuff and play games 🙂 This year we went to meet some friends in a local village center. However we started the day off with some cuddles!
Then in order to prepare you for the day ahead we did some early morning exercises 🙂
The village we all went to was Ransdorp, just north of Amsterdam. You were too young to join in for the games however you seemed to enjoy yourself, pretty in Orange 🙂
And as a bonus in the evening I played ‘Music Teacher’ and tried to play to your musical interests. Unfortunately I’m not the greatest single but I do a mean rattle! 😀
You managed to confuse me while changing you today, I couldn’t work out how suddenly you’d lost a leg. I was trying to put your onesie back on and I just couldn’t find it… until I worked out you had grabbed it to play with 😀
Today I tried a new technique to put you to sleep, something we’d seen on the internet and was deemed as the ‘miracle cure’ 🙂 It was highly overrated!
It does actually work if you’re in the right mood… obviously you weren’t
You have a habit of crying when your milk is over, no matter if you’re full or not. Am I a bad Dad for filming this? And… sometimes when you cry it sounds like an evil laugh or something, this in turn makes me and Mummy laugh.. are we bad parents? 😀 Lol
Today we had a game of ‘Name that tune’ 🙂 You were extremely good at it and won by naming Old McDonald! You’ve actually learnt a lot of tunes from YouTube… I’m not sure if that’s good or not 😀 However it really does show how your brain is developing by connecting things together! Now let’s see how long it takes you to connect ‘Daddy’ to my face 🙂 Once you do I can never shave my beard 😀
