The Animals Came In 2 By 2

One of your favorite toys at the moment is the set of magnetic balls and sticks. You can make all sorts of shapes and structures. I’m sure you think it’s some kind of Witchcraft, things magically sticking to each other. While out in the toy store we saw a nice addition to it, magnetic colorful animals! Time to learn animals and colors.

It’s Not Exactly A Walk-In Closet…

… but it’s as close as you’re going to get for a while 🙂 The one thing that Mummy loves more than buying shoes is… buying shoes for you! Even though your feet are still tiny, lots of pairs of shoes add up, so hence our new shoe closet. You gave us your sign of approval and somewhere a H&M accountant is saying… ‘cha-ching’, for the incoming orders.

I Will Not Do That!

It’s sort of a tradition, or a kind of compromise that when we want to turn the TV off, we get you to press the button, gives you a sense of control I guess. Tonight you refused to do it and a battle of wills between you and Mummy commenced… she won of course, you didn’t stand a chance 😀 You did not like result and you proceeded to show it!

Bremen – Day 3

Today we took a leisurely stroll to a local animal park, it was further that we thought. And when I say stroll, you travelled in style, as usual 🙂 You took a fancy to the ducks however we stopped you before you could catch one 😀 In the end there wasn’t too much there for you, except a playground which we visited for 10 minutes, it would be rude not to right? In the afternoon we headed back for your afternoon sleep and a chocolate picnic in bed.

Things took a turn for the worse in the evening while looking for a place to eat, you developed an extremely high fever, around 39/40! We managed to quickly finish our meal while you slept on our shoulders. We decided that night to cut our holiday short by a day and started the long drive home. Let’s hope by the time we get home you return to normal, even halfway to normal would be a huge improvement.

Bremen – Day 2

On the second day we spent the bulk of it walking around, avoiding the wasps. We spent most of our lunch time swatting wasps away… the place was full of them. You spent most of the time on your phone, wondering why we kept touching your arms and head when a wasp landed on you. Of course you fell in love with a Mini mouse… and of course Mummy bought it for you 😀 You did a good job of carrying it around all day, never letting it go.

Bremen – Day 1

Today we’re heading off to Bremen for a long weekend, a combination of a ‘summer’ holiday and my birthday. I wonder how you’re going to cope with a 3-4 hour drive… actually… I wonder how we’re going to cope 😀 We stopped a couple of times along the way to give you a rest, it’s lucky we have a car holder in the back for entertainment.

You loved the apartment, running up and down! I’m sure the people underneath us loved you 😀 You claimed your bed straight away but then Mummy turned it into a changing table. You’re sleeping in your travel bed tonight. Don’t worry Mummy remembered to bring a bag of your toys and just like home… they were scattered all over the floor 🙂

If You See It, You’ll Put It On

I think we’re going to have to make it a rule now that every time we leave a shop we check to see if you have anything 🙂 Who knows what you’ll walk out with/in one day. Maybe I should take you shopping to Mediamarkt, I could do with a new phone 😀 !! Joking of course… you would grab the most colorful one there 🙂

Back again…

Today we’re all back in Hospital due to your continued high fever. Don’t worry though our spirits are also high and we’re having some fun as well, making light of a bad situation. This time you didn’t have to quarantine, Mummy sighed in relief! We’re just going to have to monitor it and hope whatever infection your body is fighting dies soon. It was a tiring trip and as soon as we were out the room, you fell asleep 😀

Afterwards you got a new leash of life and had fun in the garden with Mummy and I.

It’s A Balancing Act

I’m not sure why you have a fascination with putting things on your head at the table, but it drives Mummy insane. Especially since you’ve normally just had a shower 🙂 We’re going to have to keep a spare clean bowl at the table, switch them over as soon as you’ve finished your food 🙂

Garden Holiday

We don’t have any holiday snaps this year due to Corona, so here are some pictures of our makeshift 3 day holiday in the garden. We enjoyed some beautiful weather in the sun and of course, in the cool pool! 🙂 I think this is one of, if not the first time that we ate our dinner in the garden. It wasn’t exactly a healthy dinner as you can see below 🙂

Oh Summer Days

Your small pool was a tight squeeze for both you and I, we needed something a little bigger! I proudly give you the new and improved ‘Summer Pool’.

You weren’t supposed to go in today as it was still a little cold, however the minute you saw it… you wanted in! 😀 Then after a minute… you wanted out! 🙂 I didn’t have a proper pool cleaner so you helped me out with a kitchen sieve, hey, it did the job! Let’s hope we can keep the pool out for a few days before the weather turns.

On Your Bike Daughter

This morning Mummy took the car to work so it’s just you and me Little One, and my bike 🙂 I’m not too sure you fully understand how a bicycle helmet is supposed to work though!

Just so you know where you spent the first 2 years of your life, and if you ever want to know how to get to Happy Kids, I recorded it all for you 😀 We had a nice leisurely cycle… even though I hadn’t exercised in months! You liked to say ‘Hi’ to people as we went past, such a friendly girl.

We got there all safe and sound!

Happy 21st Birthday

Obviously I’m referring to the number of months you are, if you were really 21 then I would be…. well old! You’re getting older by the day, stronger by the day… so strong in fact you tried to lift your pouf (stool), it didn’t go well 🙂 But I like your spirit. Only 3 months to go until the big 2! The terrible 2’s… we can’t wait 😀
