Today we got the plasticine out to see if you have a creative touch. We thought it would be easier by focusing on making fruit… maybe we were too good at making them as you really wanted to eat the banana. You weren’t a fan of the snake though but you did like the Minnie Mouse emblem I made you. I’m wondering how long the fascination for me drawing her is going to last for 🙂
I’m not sure where you found them but I caught you trying to get a pair of pants on… the thing you forgot to do was to take the old ones off. You did a brilliant job though, I was very surprised to see that you managed to get them on both your legs. Next time we need to teach you to take the old ones off first 🙂
When it comes down to making noise you are Queen. You spent the afternoon playing with your new Peppa The Pig book, making all kinds of strange noises. However this was not enough for you and a makeshift drum set was created, you were a natural!
Every year the local supermarket welcomes a very special guest. This evening you found him but unfortunately you didn’t find any presents, I think you’re going to have to wait another couple of weeks before he ‘officially’ arrives. In the meantime you get to cuddle him every time we go there for a small shop.
Today we went to a friend of ours for a Christmas drink, you had a great time running like a ‘mad woman’ up and down with Rafi. He’s a little older than you but you found some common ground… going crazy 🙂 Less than 2 weeks to go!
This evening it was playtime with Mummy & Oma. A water coloring book and plasticine is all you need for a good time. You made some long slippery snakes and you even fashioned Oma out with some orange nail extensions.
They say it’s bad luck to open an umbrella in the house… even more so to raise it above your head. However when it comes down to having a brand new ‘hiding place’, for you it’s definitely worth the risk 🙂
You’re still a little too young to understand why every year a guy with a white beard brings you presents… but as long as they’re presents… you’re happy! 🙂 This year it was a very ‘Mini Mouse’ themed one with a singing musical doll and flurry cushion.
A seat like no other! I don’t think you’ll find this type of seat in IKEA… maybe in an Antiques store? 🙂 I think you can tell by the colour of my face you’re growing up fast!
It’s been a month since your 2nd Birthday but the presents keep rolling in! We’ve been waiting a long time for the ‘man at the door’ to bring you Grandma & Dad-dad’s present. I was extremely surprised to see it as we’d thought they’d got lost in the post… You were pleased with pants and more so with the colouring book! 🙂

I have a ‘Cheese weakness’, you also have a ‘Cheese weakness’… Unfortunately we’re at the opposite ends of the spectrum as I can’t get enough of it… and you won’t even try a small, tiny, minuscule piece! 🙂
You should always use the right tools for the job… and when it comes down to eating corn on the cob… a knife and fork aren’t the right ones. After a little while and with a little help from Mummy you learnt the best way to eat it. Unfortunately the best way is also the messiest!
“Outside looking in” the following scene would probably raise a few questions… but I can tell you one thing… you didn’t like it… neither did the wall 🙂 Anyway, they say a picture says a thousand words… I’ll let your imagination fill in the blanks.
Bigger feet = yet another pair of new shoes. Sometimes I think you’re stretching your feet so you get to wear a new pair of shoes, it feels like that anyway 🙂 With you being so mobile now it’s important you have a comfy pair and I think Mummy did a good job with these. You were extremely speedy when testing them out, so much so it was hard to get a good picture!
When I see you building towers and basically just plonking the bricks on the top with little thought I’m always amazed it stays standing. I also love how when it does finally topple over you laugh and just start again. Never give up!!!
I sometimes find your decision making somewhat… questionable? If it makes you laugh and there’s an idiot with a camera encouraging you… it’s all fair game right? In this case you decided to see what would happen if you walked around a toy ridden room blind 🙂
Seems like you’ve made a new friend, well in this case you’ve gained a new guardian. I think you’ve also learnt that Oma doesn’t tell you off or punish you like Mummy and I… Sometimes I can see you taking advantage of this but remember… Daddy is always watching 🙂
It was a quieter one today as we’d already celebrated over the last couple of days. You were thrown a party at Creche, as is tradition. You received a crown and everybody sang Happy Birthday to you. I think you had a good day!
At home Mummy bought you another balloon and we opening your remaining presents, clothes!
